Unhappy that most hybrid cars get to enjoy new tech that make the world greener yet you still abstain yourself from getting a hybrid vehicle?

Mazda not wanting to leave traditional petrol combustion lovers out in the cold came out with a new system, the Mazda i-ELOOP featuring capacitor base regenerative braking capabilities. Instead of current technology of using batteries to store energy from braking, Mazda has came out with this innovative idea of storing energy directly into capacitor that is capable of charging and discharging in mere seconds. This system will feed the electric generated into another module which would tune the capacity into 12v before sending it to various electronic components used by the car. Although the system is not yet capable of powering the vehicle like a hybrid car you see on the road, it is still a great step to increasing efficiently of traditional combustion vehicles. Mazda claims that this system is capable of reducing vehicle’s fuel consumption due to lesser reliance on the need of an alternator which is known to create parasitic drag on the engine itself.

News indicates that this system is economical to produce and fitted into vehicles,which leads to automotive industry players to introduce these new tech by 2012.

Most stunt involves hitting each other with various object, and some stunt really gone hardcore where at some instance you may bee worried it will go horribly wrong.

An interesting thing to add is a Suzuki A-star was involve in the stunt as well…yes,it involves the car going over a stuntmen!

Samsung and Apple are now famous for them creating smartphone which has an impact in the world. Those impact created covers their technological advancement, their boldness to push product which continues to awe consumer, yet one thing that most people know Samsung and Apple are famous for is their ongoing lawsuit on intellectual property infringement, where Apple have won in Australia and Germany which saw Samsung bitterly pull back their 10.1 Galaxy Tab.

Now most of the hate between those two companies are mostly going on between their lawyers fighting within the court house, but recently Samsung hate towards Apple grew considerably when Samsung did an advertisement for their launching of their flagship smartphone in the US, the Samsung Galaxy S II. Talk about being subtle… watch the video to see how Samsung bash Apple’s product!

When will we start seeing automotive players doing that?

It must be really tough in the European Nations now engulfed by various debt crisis, as greed really makes people resort to doing anything to earn a living.

Video below was caught by a TV crew in Spain of an automotive workshop that subject various vehicle(Merc,Audi,Seat) into damages to claim insurance. These damage include ramming vehicles into walls,forklift or another vehicles within what looks like an automotive garage.

It is official! Suzuki has confirmed the termination of cross-shareholding alliance with Volkswagen. With the termination of the framework agreement, Suzuki has also demand that Volkswagen transfer those shares they are holding back to Suzuki or its designated third party.

Suzuki and Volkswagen AG entered into the Framework Agreement in December 2009, recognizing each other as independent equal partners and in so doing agreed to facilitate, among other things, access to Volkswagen AG’s technology. Volkswagen AG’s shareholding of 19.89% of Suzuki shares was required by Volkswagen AG to enable this access. Despite this, Volkswagen AG did not allow Suzuki access to Volkswagen AG’s core technology and it also became clear that there were differences between Suzuki and Volkswagen in the understanding of “independence.” Suzuki cannot therefore establish a relationship of mutual trust which is the basis for collaboration between the two parties.

Suzuki, therefore, served Volkswagen AG with a “Notice of Breach” on 14 October 2011, and therein notified Volkswagen AG of a certain period of time for Volkswagen AG to take remedial action in accordance with the agreement. However, Volkswagen AG has not taken any remedial action. To date, Suzuki has repeatedly made requests to Volkswagen AG to agree to have amicable discussions to terminate the business and capital relationship, but unfortunately Volkswagen AG has not agreed to such requests.

Unless Volkswagen AG effectuates the disposition of Suzuki shares to Suzuki or its designated third party immediately, Suzuki will begin arbitration, in order to re-establish the genuine independence of Suzuki by compelling the disposition of Suzuki shares to Suzuki or its designated third party.

Suzuki’s Chairman and CEO Osamu Suzuki said today,

Today Suzuki terminated the partnership with VW. Suzuki will be seeking the return of its shares from VW in arbitration. I am disappointed that we have to take this action but VW’s actions have left us no choice. They have continued to refuse our attempts on numerous occasions to resolve these issues through negotiation. I am more disappointed that having shaken the hand of Dr. Winterkorn in agreeing to this partnership, he has not honoured his commitment to grant Suzuki access to what was originally agreed. In the absence of VW’s cooperation and given its failure to do what was agreed, there is no basis for the partnership to continue. With the cessation of the partnership there is also no basis for VW to hold on to Suzuki’s shares. We will now work to restore the relationship between Suzuki and VW to its original state as independent parties who do not restrict each other’s business. I call on Dr. Winterkorn to honour this.

What started as a normal fender bender between two cars during a foggy night on a stretch of A31 not far from the Dutch border, ended up being a massive car accident which involves 50 cars.

The REGINA embodies Suzuki’s vision of a next-generation global compact car. It’s as light as a minicar (just 730kg) thanks to a clear focus on minimizing weight, and it has a drag coefficient at least 10% lower than that of current models thanks to uncompromising efforts to heighten aerodynamic performance.  Q-concept: two-seat micro mobility for everyday life.

The Q-concept is an entirely new kind of mobility — one that’s positioned between conventional motorcycles and cars. With a 2.5-metre overall length and two seats in tandem configuration, it’s ideal for everyday journeys within a radius of about 10km.

The Q-concept is more practical than a car as it’s more manoeuvrable and takes up much less parking space. At the same time, a cabin makes it a more attractive, more comfortable option than a motorcycle. It’s outstandingly handy for shopping, commuting, going to the doctor, transporting children, and all the other short journeys in everyday life.

Other Q-concept configurations are possible. For instance, the Q-concept can have a single seat for a parent at the front and a two-person child seat at the rear, or it can be configured as a delivery vehicle with a single seat at the front and a cargo area at the rear. So it offers new possibilities for people who live in towns where businesses, schools, hospitals and other essential facilities are all in relatively compact areas.
Swift EV Hybrid: a compact electric vehicle with an engine-driven generator

The Swift EV Hybrid is Suzuki’s vision of an ecocar that embodies advances on the Swift Range Extender.

A compact vehicle such as the Suzuki Swift is typically driven 20−30km per day in Japan. The Swift EV Hybrid can cover such distances on battery power alone. And it can extend its range using an engine-driven generator.

Compared with an electric vehicle that depends entirely on battery power, the Swift EV Hybrid has a smaller battery that’s quicker to charge, weighs less, uses fewer resources, and costs less.

The Swift EV Hybrid is scheduled to be exhibited as the Swift Range Extender at motor shows in some countries.
