0

First of all, our hearts goes to the event that is happening in Bangkok,Thailand where massive floods not only cause inconvenience to people and industries alike, but also condolence to the lives lost there as well.

We have seen many front page newspaper like The Star, Sin Chiew Daily where loads of Honda vehicles was buried in the flood waters like the image above. Many vehicle owners desperate enough to save their cars from similar fate like the ones below have opt to park their cars along elevated highway between Ngam Wong Wan and Pracha Chuen. As we all know, human sees human do  it soon turn out to be an ugly sight that not only cause inconvenience to other drivers actually using the highway for commuting purposes but also hampering the efforts of rescue teams and emergency personnel to effectively mobilize to flood hit areas.

Authorities has given out warnings to offenders to remove their vehicle or face stiff fines and towing charges due to traffic obstruction. Although it was known to many locals that most vehicles being parked there are deliberate, yet there are also vehicles which was abandoned due to the confusion caused by the flood and many road closure around Thailand flood hit area are not helping things at all.

0

14 October 2011. Hamamatsu, Japan. Suzuki Motor Corporation (“Suzuki”) has today served Volkswagen AG (“VW”) with a ‘notice of breach’ in relation to the companies’ 9 December 2009 Framework Agreement.

The notice requires that VW remedies numerous breaches of the companies’ Framework Agreement. The notice follows a period of prolonged efforts by Suzuki to progress its relationship with VW, as agreed at the partnership’s inception.

Suzuki’s Chairman and CEO, Osamu Suzuki, said today, “This capital alliance was intended to facilitate Suzuki’s access to VW’s core technologies. I remain disappointed that we have not received what we were promised. If Volkswagen will not allow access it must return Suzuki’s shares. We are very encouraged by Suzuki’s consistently solid performance. We remain on track for profitability and are excited about the potential for future growth.”
